About

TowerNotes started as a shared spreadsheet between a few friends who kept arguing about which tower defence games were worth the storage space. It grew into a small site because we got tired of reviews that clearly never made it past the tutorial.

Everything here is written after real sessions. We don't skim a trailer and call it a review. Someone on the team plays the game for several evenings, takes messy notes, then turns them into something readable.

We pick games based on curiosity more than release calendars. If a strategy title does something clever with resource management, or a tower defence game finds a fresh twist on lane control, it lands on our list. We avoid anything built around gambling mechanics.

Nobody pays us to feature a game. When we like something we say so, and when a game wastes your patience we say that too.
