Casinacho Games: a strategy game that rewards patience
I went into Casinacho Games expecting something light and disposable. The bright art gave me that impression, and I was wrong in a good way. Under the cheerful surface is a strategy game that punishes rushing and rewards a plan.
The opening maps are gentle. You learn to place buildings, gather your three core resources, and shore up the points that waves target. It's around the fourth or fifth map that the game shows its teeth, when you no longer have room to build everything and have to commit to a direction.
My biggest tip is to stop fighting the tech tree and pick a lane early. I wasted my first playthrough spreading upgrades thin. On my second run I committed to defensive structures first, and maps that had felt impossible became manageable.
Control-wise it's a joy on a phone. Drag to place, hold to open the radial menu, and everything is reachable with one thumb. It never crashed on me and stayed smooth during the busiest waves.
It's not a huge game and you'll see the end of the campaign, but the replay pull is real. Casinacho Games is one I'll keep on my phone for the quick strategic itch.
