Apex Drift Circuit

Apex Drift Circuit is unapologetically arcade. You slide around corners, chain drifts for a boost meter, and try to shave seconds off tracks you've run a dozen times. There's no pretence of realism and it's better for it.

Both tilt and touch controls are supported, and both work. I preferred touch for precision, but tilt is genuinely fun on a train seat. The sense of speed holds up even on older devices.

The unlock system is fair, letting you earn new cars through play rather than nagging you constantly. Content runs out eventually, but the core loop is satisfying while it lasts.
