The best strategy games to play one-handed

Not every strategy game respects the fact that you're on a phone, often with one hand busy. The good ones design their menus around a thumb, and the difference is huge for daily play.

Radial menus are a quiet hero here. Instead of hunting across the screen, you hold a spot and options fan out under your finger. Casinacho Games does this well, and I wish more titles copied it.

Auto-pause during placement is another feature I now look for. Being able to stop time while you think means a game works in short bursts without punishing you for a phone call interrupting a wave.

If a strategy game forces two-handed pinch-zooming constantly, it drops down my list. Comfort is a feature, not a nicety, on mobile.
