RPG
Ironvale Legends
★★★★☆ 4.2
Ironvale Legends is a compact role-playing game that respects a phone screen. Battles are turn-based and readable, with clear icons for status effects and a queue that shows who acts next. You build a party of four and swap members depending on the enemies you expect.
The writing is better than I braced for. Side characters have small arcs that pay off, and the main quest wraps up before the grind becomes obvious. Progression feels earned rather than gated behind endless daily tasks.
My one gripe is inventory management, which gets fiddly late game. Otherwise it's a solid pocket RPG you can play in short bursts on a commute.
What we liked
- Readable turn-based combat
- Story that knows when to end
- Great for short sessions
